Personality Development
Every person, if he is not handicapped, has two legs and two hands. He has a mind to think and his assumption too that provide him a background to think in. Yet there is a great difference between every two persons. They are different not only in face and body structure but also in there abilities, capabilities, talents and their way of thinking and working. Generally Personality is to be taken as body structure but actually it is the combination of physical and mental traits that make his complete personality. A good personal makes the person able and successful. An able and successful person may live a healthy, happy and honorable life which is the demand of every person. It proves that every person needs a developed personality if he doesn’t possess it.
Personality consists of mental traits more than physical ones. Moreover we see that a man or women’s success in life becomes possible mostly due to his or her mental abilities and talents. Even an athlete with well built and strong body can not succeed if his mind is not working in order. Means that if we want to succeed in life in any field we need Personality Development and this development will include mostly the Development of Mental abilities.
Now the question remains how can these abilities be developed?
Personality Development depends on the development of five types of abilities:
Development of language or the development of expression abilities so that he may be able to express himself successfully and effectively.
Development of thinking abilities or development of reasoning so that he may be able to decide successfully in a critical condition.
Development of Self Confidence so that he may assume that the decision he has taken is right and that he possesses all the powers and abilities that are needed to execute the work successfully.
Development of Knowledge.
Development of attractive style of treating with others.
